Fwd: April 19th JCTRA work party plan: Cut'n'ride!

Here's a message from the Jones Creek Trail Riders in Vancouver:

All,

For the April 19th JCTRA work party the plan is to have a cut'n'ride. We'll divide up in groups and ride the loops clearing any downed trees and/or other debris along with installing necessary signage some light brushing, and other tasks getting the trails ready for the season opener on May 1st!

As always the work party will leave the Jones Creek staging area at 9:00 AM, Saturday, April 19th.

This work party is open to the public and will qualify as volunteer hours toward a free Discovery Pass. The DNR will be on hand with free temporary Disco Day Passes for all volunteers who need one. Please bring helmets and work gloves, all other tools will be provided.

Often several of us gather at Shari's in Orchards at around 7:15 to have breakfast before the work party. All are welcome.

Here's the scoop on this year's RFS.  GGR is leaving The Dalles bridge at 9AM to meet the OR Trail Bikers in Arlington, OR at 10AM.  Leaving Arlington at 10:30AM to Fossil, OR for a BBQ, bike blessing and Memorial Ride for Tam Stone and Carl Bevard.

The cost for the BBQ is $10

Overnight camping is available (2 bikes 2 tents max) $10

additional meal cost as needed.

Lori Osgood desertchick64@hotmail.com needs a count for the BBQ and a count for those camping.
