Jones Creek Work Party Aug 17 (WA)

Note - This is for Jones Creek Washington

This Saturday, August 17th JCTRA plans to finish hauling in the gravel to cap off the trail Turnpike Project began earlier this month.
We'll be loading gravel into the club 6x6's using a rented skid steer then dumping and spreading it on to the previously rocked surface. We also rented a plate compactor which we will use to compact and set the newly graveled trail surface.
We need lots of volunteers to help rake out the gravel and complete this big project.
We'll be leaving the Jones Creek Staging Area at 9:00 AM.
All tools provided, please bring gloves, lunch and come dressed for the weather.
Several of us often meet for breakfast before the work party at the Shari's on 117th in Orchards. We generally meet at 7:00AM in order to make the work party by 9:00. All are welcome!!
This work party is open to the public and will count as volunteer hours toward a free Discovery Pass. You do need a Discovery Pass to park for this event however the DNR will have free day passes available for all volunteers.
