Bike Games 2012 CMA Oregon State Rally


Oregon State Rally

Please send this out to all the Oregon chapters and perhaps
Washington and California if that makes sense. This is to encourage
participation in the bike games on Saturday for the Oregon State Rally.

Bike Games 2012 CMA Oregon State Rally
More bike games fun at the state rally! We will have a few changes from last year.
We will have competitions for 2 AND 3 wheelers, solo AND pilot/passagenger pairs.
Come prepared to have fun!

Individual Games


2 wheel only
Plank Ride
Slow Race

2 and 3 wheel
Obstacle course (snaking curves around cones, timed run, time penalty for hitting/missing cones). Separate class for 2 wheel and 3 wheel

3 wheel only
Blind "closest to finish line without going over"

Pilot and Passenger Games

2 wheel only
Ring Joust

2 and 3 wheel
Water Balloon over Bar

3 wheel only
Blind pilot Slalom, directed by Passenger

Non-Bike Fun

Planks-on-feet team race, no prizes (start of games to get folks cheering)
Water balloon toss (back up a pace each toss) as wrap up at the end. just for bragging rights.


Prizes
1st and 2nd for these classes, Gift Certs to Goodie store
2 wheel individual    $10, $5   =  $15
3 wheel individual    $10, $5   =  $15
2 wheel partners      $10, $5 (x2, pilot and passenger)   = $30
3 wheel partners      $10,  $5 (x2, pilot and passenger)  = $30
Total = $90 in prizes.

CMA FYI. Christian Biker Ride




Hi All,
Just want to remind those of you who know and let the rest of you know about the Ride Saturday:

July 28th Portland/Vancouver, Christian Biker ride & fellowship. All bikes are welcome.
136 mile Scenic Ride. Begins at Ihop @ 2900 SE 164th (off Hwy 14) Vancouver.
NE through Carson, north toward Swift Resevoir, SW through Amboy to Rocky's Pizza in Battleground. Kick Stands Up at 12:00/noon (Come early to eat.)
Fellowship at Rocky's Pizza from 5:00-8:00. If you can't go on the ride, you can drop in and visit @ Rocky's.
We may not go on the whole ride but don't know for sure.

Next is the Grand National Flat Track Races @ Castle Rock Aug 3-4.
We need all the help we can get for selling tickets for parking and directing cars in the parking lot. Also for our booth through out the event. You must be a CMA patch wearer and wearing your patch to get in. Some of us will be going up Thursday night and set up our camps and the booth.
You will need to work at least 4 hours to get in free and maybe help at the booth for an hour or 2. We will need 20 to 30 people through out the 2 days. Let me know when you can be there and I will add you to the list. We need a few more people for Friday night parking, 2:00-8:00 PM. Saturday we still have several spots open. 10:00AM-7:00PM

Next is Biker Sunday at Amboy Nazarene & Ride for Options 360. Church service @ 11:00AM, BBQ @ 12:00, Ride @ 2:00. Bring Newborn clothes, toys $ etc. We will be helping with the ride, doing Bike Blessings and setting up a small CMA table. We will meet @ the Safeway in Battleground @ 9:30AM KSU 9:45. Please try to come to this. It is a very busy weekend but we can do this!!

July 14th Amboy Parade. If you are interested in riding your bike or Quad in the parade:
The schedule is as follows

0815 – Ride briefing and Prayer at CrossPointe Baptist Church.
0830 – KSU
0900 – Registration and find out where they want us in the parade
0910 – Quick meeting for CP Riders
0920 – Go meet other people and share your Christian belief where appropriate.
0950 – Get back to bikes
1000 – Parade starts
After the parade enjoy the Territorial Days celebration.
Go home whenever you are ready.

Don't forget the Ride & Shoot this Saturday!!
July 7th, 2nd Annual Ride & Shot. Meet at Boppin Bo's @ 9:30 AM. For more info contact Cliff Nutting @ 360 837-3110 or redrebel40@myfrontiermail.com

Bring the guns and lets go shoot. I will have my car there for anyone who wants me to transport for them.
We will travel out the backroads and stop at Cougar for lunch and then on to Stevenson to the shooting range. Lots of fun for the whole family!!!
If you don't like to shoot, just come along for the ride.

Also, Doug Lack's group has an ice cream run Sunday after Church. Meet at Crosspointe church @ 2:00.

Sunday Ice Cream Run




We are having another Sunday Ice Cream Run.  We'll meet at CrossPointe Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m.  Last month we went on a longer run so this time we will be going on a shorter run.  It will end at the New York style Ice cream shop on St. Johns Road at 49th.  They have 52 flavors and they can intermix any of them.

Dave Jones will head it up.  I will be late because of funeral I need be at.  Hopefully I will get there before you're done.
