Request to bring flags to the Military Service on Friday for Les McDonald

CMA-members,

I have been notified by the Co-commander of the Patriot Guard Riders that they will be (unable) to assist us with the Flag line for the Military Internment Service for Les McDonald at WNC on Friday as they have (2) back to back services to perform starting at 0900 at another "outdoor shelter in a different location of the cemetery.

SO PLEASE IF YOU HAVE AN AMERICAN FLAG (on a hand held pole like would be hung on a building) please bring it so we can use it to form a flag line procession at the shelter prior to the arrival of the family.

NOTE: if you wish to take part in the (flag line) please be at the staging area (NO LATER THAN 0930 ON FRIDAY) the service will start (precisely at 01000hrs) and must be completed in the 30minutes allotted time.

God Bless you all and look forward to seeing you there,

CMA Updates & Reminders

Carl and Sheila and the rest of the CCC/CMA members,
Thank you for getting the word out.   Here is a little more information that might help our members in getting to the Military event.
And for those that might not know where Faith Center Church is located here is the Address:
Faith Center Church— www.faith-center.org
2533 NE Andresen Road
Vancouver, WA 98661
Anne McDonald knows that it may be hard for many to get off on Friday to come to the Willamette National Cemetery.
I am sure it will be a comfort to her and the family if as many CMA members as possible could come and pay respects to this Awesome Man of God, CMA servant minister and Army Veteran who served his country proudly in the US Army and Fought for all of our Freedom during the Vietnam War.  Please wear your colors if you are servant members and bring an American Flag (if you have a portable one) and wish to help myself and members of the "Patriot Guard Riders" form a Flag line to the Internment outdoor Shelter.
(Note)  All attending CMA Members should plan to be at the Willamette Natl. Cemetery at 0930am on Friday and stage at the parking lot across from the Funeral home  (directions: From Portland International Airport, take Airport Way to Interstate 205 South. Proceed south approximately seven miles to Foster Rd., (exit 17). Take exit and travel east on Foster 3/4 mile. Then turn right on 110th Drive. Proceed uphill 3/4 mile to Mt. Scott Boulevard. Cemetery entrance is on the left)  (see map  ) http://www.cem.va.gov/CEM/cems/maps/willamette907.pdf
Note: you can as well google the Willamette National Cemetery and get directions as well (slightly different route off of Foster Road)
God Bless,
Tim Randall-Chaplain

CMA Updates & Reminders

Hi All'
I am forwarding all the info for this weekend's events and a letter from Tim.
Saturday's Prayer Ride with Crosspointe Riders.
From Doug Lack:

Saturday is our third annual Prayer Ride through the local communities.  We meet at ( Crosspoint Church 9810 N.E. 76th St. Vanc.) 8:30 a.m. and KSU at 9:00.  The weather looks great, Praise the Lord, we will make 6 stops to pray with the last one being Battle Ground.
The stops will be as follows:
Ridgefield
La Center
Woodland
Amboy
Yacolt
Battle Ground

One Person will pray for each location, that we should be able to stay within our self imposed 10 minute time limit. By staying with that time we can finish in 3 hours or less.
Some of you have children that like ride with you, bring them.  If your children are non-existent, too young or too old borrow some one else's children.  I think it is good to show that this is a family ministry.

We plan on eating lunch in Battle Ground.  I have found 4 places that have good food, so I'm told, reasonable prices and enough space.  We'll vote which one we want Saturday morning.

From Tim Randall:
CMA leaders

I trust all is going well with (those of you I haven't seen or been in touch with in a while!  Seems it has been an extremely busy (but short) summer.  Many exciting ministry opportunities have taken place and for that we all share tremendous Godly pride!!  I managed to wreck on my dirt bike on an outing with my Son in Law last Saturday (silly accident on a fire road no less) I had X-rays taken today of my shoulder as I can't hardly move it and there remains quite a bit of swelling. The Dr. suggested I get an MRI done so that is happening today at 4pm. Please pray that there is not more serious hidden damage (as I am just now getting over the last "Tim stunt" damaging my right wrist?

In light of all of that Lori and I think it in the best interest of everyone that we cancel the Packwood Saturday ride/picnic for this year.  I did get a few responses from members that wished to participate and I am sure we would have a great time like last year!

I will be at the Officers meeting this month, however I will be out of town for our regular meeting on the 20th.

Praying that Doug and Dan are having the time of their life back in Sturgis and that they be covered with traveling mercies~
Till we see each other be Blessed,

Tim R.-Chaplain

Hope to see you all this weekend

Fwd: CMA PLEASE RESPOND

Hi All"
Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather.
First I would like to thank all of you who came and helped at "Cow Chip" and all who were praying. I believe God opened more doors and it all went very well, considering the low attendance (yah) and rain. The service was great with awesome worship music ( thanks Doug) and very inspiring testimonies. There were alot of people standing around listening. Can't wait to see what God does next!
Everyone is busy and out at different events in ministry and family fun.
There are still many events coming up and one I need to touch base with you all, on, is the Ride & BBQ up to Tim & Lori Randalls place in Packwood Aug 27th. We need to know how many are coming and get a plan made.
So far the plan is to ride up on Saturday morning, BBQ burgers & hotdogs and then for those who want too, go with Tim on a ride up Chinook Pass. They have also invited anyone who wants to come up Friday night and camp are welcome to do that. You can bring your drinks and anything extra that you want and there is a store near the house.
Please let me know if you are planning on coming ASAP.

Next Sunday is the Teddy Bear in Amboy. I will send out further details this week when I get them from Dave.

See you all soon!
Love & Blessings
Carl & Sheila
