We are less than two weeks until CMA's annual Run for the Son. Please be sure to read the information and share with the RFS chapter secretary you have designated for this event.

This year our Western Washington RFS event will once again be held at Champion Center in Tacoma.
Lunch will be $8.00 per person and can be paid to Margaret at the church. The event will start at 11AM sharp.

I have attached the secretary information including the RFS common questions asked. All chapter money should be collected and totaled prior to turning in to Betty Andrew, CMA State Secretary/Treasurer at the Champion Center.

MOTORCYCLE GATHERING (CANCELLATION)

Sponsors and Supporters,

Because of all of you and the participating motorcycle community our 2009 motorcycle gathering event was a big success!  Throughout the year I envisioned an even better event for 2010 and I began preparations earlier this year.

After over a month of preliminary preparation and research into "what we could do" to make this year's event even better than last, I came to the unfortunate realization that "I" didn't have the same passion for the event that drove me last year.  I took my concern to the Lord in prayer and it was clearly shown to me that what I was attempting to do was not truly aligned with the mission statement of the Christian Motorcycle Association, that is first and foremost to be a "Servant Ministry" and with that in mind our main focus should be to continue to work with and help other organizations representing the motorcycle community.

My initial contact with many of you that were participants last year confirmed our concerns that your resources were being really stretched this year due to budget restraints due to our still sluggish economy.

With that said the leadership of CMA Cross Country Cyclist-Chapter 26 has decided to cancel this year's event and to put our efforts into helping the Motorcycling Community, our Civic leaders, Police, Fire and EMS responders at your already scheduled and organized events.

Thank you again for your past support and understanding.  Please feel free to contact us if there is "any" area that we may assist your ongoing efforts.\

Respectfully,

Tim Randall—Chaplain and Event coordinator for CCC CMA Chapter #26 Vancouver, WA
