Les McDonald, one of our chapter members, has had a serious stroke.
He is in the hospital and will go in for surgery tomorrow (Wednesday)
morning. Please join us and pray that there is no tumor and that God
will restore him to health and that the peace of God that surpasses
all understanding will be with him and his family.

Please share this with those who know how to pray.

Helmet Law Info

The attached Group Riding Guidelines were sent to me and I am sharing them with all of you.
There has been much discussion (and a couple of traffic tickets) concerning the newly adopted Washington State Motorcycle Helmet Law (Effective July 26, 2009).  I have provided a very informative website link from the Biker Friendly Bar (Lawyers not alcohol) below.  It contains the actual words of the law and it even has explanations and pictures.   I hope this provides you with the most current information concerning legal motorcycle helmets in Washington State:

Clark Co Fair, God Mobile

If you are interested in working in the God Mobile at the Clark Co Fair this year, Tad could use the help. Free tickets & parking. You can call him at 903-8696

Fwd: CMA Ride

This is another event for Sept. that would be good for us all to go on. So mark your Calendar.

Hello Sheila and Carl.
On September 11th (Friday) we are having a free motorcycle run around Clark County to honor and remember fire fighters and their families and would like to invite you and your entire group to participate. We will be visiting 6 major fire stations around the county and making a presentation to each fire station to thank them for their service. Do you think that your members could provide a prayer of remberance at each location? Rich Schlalos is doing the final service at the end, which will be a candlelight vigil and memorial service, but I think that a prayer at each station would be appropriate. Let me know what you think. I have attached a flyer so you can read more about the event.
Best Regards,

Fall Family Campout

It's not too soon to begin planning for the Fall Family Campout at Wenatchee.  This is our first time at this campground and
there are lots of places to ride and fun things to do in the area so come on out and join us for the final campout of the season.
For those of you who don't camp, there are lots of motels in the area of various prices and I have attached a web site that is a bike shop and motel just outside of Leavenworth. We look forward to seeing all of you there,
Jim & Margaret
