Visit needed for Good Sam Patient

Hi Everyone,

I was contacted today, by George from the Longview Chapter. He is Chaplain at Good Sam hospital. He has asked that some CMA members go over and visit & pray with a young man, 26 years old who was bitten by a poisonous bug and the poison went to his brain and caused irreversible damage. He is from Cascade Locks and said that CMA visited his Church up there and he is very intrigued by CMA. If you can spare some time this weekend, to go visit him and pray with him, that would be a big, Blessing to him. He really likes our Colors, so if you have them, wear them.
Please let me know if you can go so I can let George know or you can call him @ 360 798-3661.
Here is the info:

Meeting to plan for the July 19th visit to the Oregon Veterans Home

Friends,
A brief organizational meeting for those that would be interested in helping or would simply like to know more about what is planned for the July 19th Motorcycle visitation to OVH.

Wednesday May 7th 6pm  at the Oregon Veterans Home.  I promise an hour max.

We will review the vision of what this event is to be about.  Honor, Respect, Visitation and keeping this operation as simple as possible.  We will look at the parking plan for those that arrive by Motorcycle. (which we hope will be many).  We will briefly tour the facility

Our group will be primarily assigned to organize the bikes and to be available for the information needs of those that travel here from outside.

Hope that you can make it.  If the 7th is not a good day for you, not too worry. You can still be involved and help when the day comes.  There will also be a meeting closer to the actual event.

Feel free to bring along guests.

President's Thoughts

Presidents Thoughts:

In  April we had a few ministering opportunities. At the Mountain Jam put on by ABATE,we had a good turn out. ABATE greatly thanked us and gave us a donation for run for the Son. I Went to the swap meet in Portland and got to talk to a few people about Jesus and CMA. May is going to be a busy month with Run for the Son, Vernonia, Larch Mountain corrections visit, Woodies Pig Roast, and the Freedom Run to name a few.  Pray for some sunshine. May is also Biker awareness month.

WATCH FOR US BIKERS ON THE ROAD!!!

The call to service is on. Seving God is not optional. Every excuse not to is rendered void by the facts of Scripture, which says that believer are "created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10). If we see ourselves as servants, we will be God-focused and dependent upon the Holy Spirit. But if we're busy worrying over how, when, and at what cost we are working for the Lord, then we are self-centered and of little use to Him. So pray up get up and hit the hiways and byways and look for people to serve !       In Jesus name ! God Bless and see you there !

In His service;
