Dinner meeting Thursday 6:30PM

Hi, You All,

We are having a special meeting Thursday night at 6:30PM at the Cameo Cafe at Green Meadows Golf Course. ( Where we used to meet ) We need to get our "Run for the Son" committments to Debbie before we head up to Tacoma Friday.

Just a reminder, that we are heading up Friday night and if you want to ride up Saturday Morning, you need to contact me and I will see if anyone else is planning on going Saturday. If you want to go with us Friday, we will be meeting at Gee Creek Rest Area @ 6:00PM. I have enclosed the Motel info and if you would like to share a room, we have someone who needs a roommate to share the price.

We will be coming back Saturday afternoon.

Come out to the meeting Thursday and get the final details.

Love & Blessings

Carl & Sheila

nice: this was a nice and comfortable place to sleep and it was pretty quiet. I could sleep very well and was not tossing and turning all night long like I would have done at another motel.

Good For The Price: The Motel 6 was an ok hotel. It had a small pool you could use and laundry facilities; but no internet connections. I was able to check in in the early morning hours. The hotel staff did a good job cleaning the room; but the room itself was a little rundown. The only main complaint I had was that every second day my key card would no longer work and I had to get it reset at the conceirge desk. Overall the hotel was worth the low price they charge.

Clean, convenient and quiet!: Convenience and location made our stay a winner! This motel was nestled in a residential area, yet only 2 blocs from the I-5 access. The local restaraunts were within an easy walking distance, and major shopping was only 3 miles away. The room was large, very clean and had more than adequate vanity area and desk too. All in all, I felt that we had great value for the money The desk clerk that checked us in said that we were suppose to have a 10% discount for booking online, and that it was not in the computer so she gave it to us right then. I appreciate her honesty and I would be very comfortable to spend another time there in the future!

Psalm 23 (For the Work Place)

The Lord is my real boss, and I shall not want.
He gives me peace, when chaos is all around me.
He gently reminds me to pray and do! all things without
murmuring and complaining.

He reminds me that He is my source and not my job.
He restores my sanity every day and guides my decisions
that I might honor Him in all that I do.

Even though I face absurd amounts of e-mails, system
crashes, unrealistic deadlines, budget cutbacks, gossiping
co-workers, discriminating supervisors and an aging body
that doesn't cooperate every morning, I still will not stop---
for He is with me! His presence, His peace, and His power
will see me through.

He raises me up, even when they fail to promote me.
He claims me as His own, even when the company threatens
to let me go. His Faithfulness and love is better than any bonus check.

His retirement plan beats any 401k there is!
When it's all said and done, I'll be working for Him a whole lot longer and for that, I BLESS HIS NAME!!!!!

ABATE Mountain Jam

There was a great turnout at the ABATE Mountain Jam on Saturday April 12th. We had plenty of space at the Clark County Fairgrounds for the bike show, vendor booths, and most importantly the jumping castle. (Note...some comments required by my son. :-) Christian riding organizations including CMA, Bikers for Christ, and Freedom Fellowship were well represented.
Sheila put out the call for CMA patch holders to come out and CMAers responded. Thanks!

We had the tent set up with Donny's Indian and Richard's Kikker. Our team was helping at the door, working security, and running our booth with several of us there from open to close.

There were a number of people who came by to get information about our CMA and we look forward to seeing them at upcoming meetings.
